Domitilla Brandoni

I am currently an HPC Data Engineer at Cineca. My work mainly focuses on parallelization and optimization of AI algorithms. I teach in several courses how to harness the power of supercomputers by means of parallel computing also within the machine and deep learning framework.

I got a PhD  in Mathematics at University of Bologna (UNIBO). The thesis addresses the image classification problem using multilinear algebra and optimization techiniques for nonlinear and nonsmooth problems.

During my PhD I also worked on using linear algebra tools in Neural Network architectures with Python (TensorFlow).

Interests: HPC, AI, generative AI,  deep learning, classification problems, Neural Networks,  numerical analysis, tensor decompositions.
