PhD candidate in Mathematics at University of Bologna

I am a PhD candidate in Mathematics at University of Bologna (UNIBO). My thesis has already been accepted from the reviewers for the final exam and I will defend it around March. 

My research focused on image classification using multilinear algebra and optimization techiniques for nonlinear and nonsmooth problems. During my PhD I also worked on using linear algebra tools in Neural Network architectures with Python (TensorFlow).

Interests: classification problems, Neural Networks, machine learning, numerical analysis, tensor decompositions, Tensor-Train decomposition, programming.
